Mercedes Benz, one of the world’s top producers of quality and luxury cars, have come up with a concept car with which they can take on the super car manufacturers Ferrari, Lamborghini and Co. The SF1 may well end up in production. Ok, they have employed Steel Drake to do it! Who is Steel Drake? Well, Steel Drake is a 24 year old self-taught amateur designer without any formal degree. His real name is Oleg Ermakov and he lives in Kyrgyzstan. SF1 is his second concept design project and took him two months to complete. Steel Drake tried to get away from some of the German brand design elements, at the same time retaining features to maintain brand identity. I am not sure that I like the new logo, I have been used to looking at my ‘Mercedes Stern’ when I drive my ‘small’ E200. It gives me the feeling that I am driving a safe luxury car in comfort, built by a Company who continue to pursue Karl Maybach’s aim of producing top quality world class cars (Car Man).
There is the suspicion that this concept car is a real production possibility – it causes quite a stir! Now have a look at our video! You might also find these interesting ....
