Saab unveils the new Saab 9-3 range
The new Saab 9-3 range made its public debut at the 2007 Frankfurt motor show. The new 9-3 line-up consists of the saloon, the sport wagon estate and the uber-stylish convertible. Alongside the new Saab models comes four replacement variant forms the ‘Airflow’, the Linear SE updating the previous Linear Sport, the Vector Sport, the ‘Aero’ and a limited edition Turbo X designed to evoke the iconic appeal of the first black 900 Turbo and showcases the latest XWD technology. The mostly turbo-charged engine line-up include a new high performance diesel, using the low-emission twin-turbo 1.9TTiD (180 PS) unit and an innovative BioPower engine that runs on bioethanol (E85) or unleaded petrol.

Apparently 2000 modifications have been made across the range, although at a glance most of the body changes appear in the front portion with the Aero-X inspired clamshell bonnet, eyeball headlamp clusters and re-designed bumpers which give an all-round ‘cleaner’ more assertive feel. In short its definitely worth a look at if your in the market for an Audi or BMW 3 series.
